If you are not in the mood for tavern food, you should be sure to check out Baba’s Mediterranean Kitchen, a small family business that has been keeping the people of Baltimore well fed for years. This restaurant is bring your own beer so stop by your favorite distributor on the way and pick yourself up something that pairs well with gyros and lamb. This is one of those small businesses that knows that putting the customer first is the best way to stay in business and you won’t find a local with a bad thing to say about the joint. With great food and a relaxed atmosphere this is a cool spot to grab lunch on the go or sit and enjoy the company of others. Like many restaurants in the Baltimore area, Baba’s is open for lunch and then has a brief closing before reopening for dinner, and here they do it five days a week. Monday through Friday the restaurant is open from 11:30am until 2:30pm and then closes until 5pm when it stays open until 9. Then on weekends it runs continuously from 11:30am on Saturday until 9pm and on Sunday from noon until 8pm.
