From Falls Road Corridor, it is roughly a 20-40 drive to Downtown Baltimore, 15-20 minutes to Towson, and 30-60 minutes to the Baltimore Washington International Airport. The southern end of the corridor is around Downtown Baltimore and will feature the major junctions of Maryland Routes 2, 133, 130, and 88 among others. On the north end, where it ends, is at Beckleysville Road in Alesia.

Where should I eat?

If you are looking for great food that is locally grown and produced on the Falls Road Corridor, look no further than Atwater’s on Falls Road. This easy-going bakery is known for their soups, sandwiches, and world-class breakfast. If you are taking a trip up Route 25 and starting a day of sightseeing there is no better place to get your trip started at than Atwater’s. The bakery started as a place to buy just one type of bread in 1999, and has grown to the regional powerhouse it is today. The Falls Road location opens every morning at 7am, except for weekends where they open at 8, and they close each day at 3pm.

Are you looking for something a little heartier later in the day or a place to grab dinner after a day of traveling up and down from Baltimore or Pennsylvania? The Valley Inn is a historic tavern and grill that focuses on traditional American fare and drinks with a beautiful patio. The Valley Inn has been serving the people of Baltimore since 2011 and features two incredible fireplaces inside which will keep you warm during the winter months and there is ten-foot projection screen that will have the most important local sporting events on.

Papi’s Hampden is one of the best Mexican food places in all of Maryland and it I slocated here on the Falls Road Corridor. Focusing on small plates and comforting food, this restaurant will have you leaving satisfied. With a traditional street food menu as well as a menu for vegan and vegetarian, this place has something for everyone from any dietary need. If you are looking for a great drink menu, Papi’s has a tremendous cocktail and margarita list as well as many international Mexican beers that you won’t find anywhere else.

Are there parks nearby?

The Oregon Ridge Park and Nature Center is one of the most all-encompassing parks in all of Maryland. This park has a playground for the little ones as well as a nature center to teach them about the important plat life and animal life that live in the park. This park has trails you can visit in the nice weather months while keeping them open as cross-country skiing areas in the winter time.  They have sledding areas in the wintertime and keep a beach open during the nicer months. This park has something for everyone across each and ever season.

What is there to do?

There are so many interesting things to see and visit while going through the Falls Road Corridor. The Baltimore Streetcar Musuem is a great place to relive past nostalgia and learn more about the public transportation in Baltimore’s history. You will see railcars and trolleys from years gone by and has been amazing visitors for over four decades. This museum is staffed by all volunteers so you know they are passionate about what they do! 

What places should I visit?

The Oregon Ridge Park is a beautiful place to visit for young and old and year round. For those interested in nature and looking to get a good workout in, or lay down by the beach it is the perfect place to spend the day.

The Cloisters, which is a castle built in the old medieval fashion, is on the Falls Road Corridor and has been the home to many social events.
