Where should I eat?

Just because Caves Valley is a historic area with a lot of farmland does not mean you can’t get a great, high-class meal. The Oregon Grille is an upscale surf and turf restaurant among the farming community. Here you get all of the perks of an upscale seafood and steak restaurant, like the mahogany and leather setting that is standard in an upscale restaurant like this. You also have the opportunity here to sit at the casual bar and enjoy standard and traditional pub fare. The locals love the brunch menu on weekends and you will find some excellent cream of crab soup if you are looking to get a taste of what traditional Maryland cuisine is all about. The Oregon Grille is open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday the restaurant is open from 11:30am through midnight, and on Sundays it opens at 11am for brunch and remains open until 11pm.

If you are not looking for a more expensive meal but still craving standard American fare, and perhaps even breakfast regardless of the time of day, the Iron Rooster is a casual and comfortable restaurant that provides a unique spin on Southern comfort food. Here you can get chicken and waffles whenever you come, no matter if it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The locals love the happy hour pricing and high quality food and service. Breakfast is their main selling point, but they offer a long menu of southern classics that will leave you full and happy. The Iron Rooster is open seven days a week and starts their days early by opening at 7am each and every day. Monday through Saturday through 10pm, and on Sundays they stay open until 8pm.

Caves Valley has no shortage of American fare that focuses on the most important meal of the day breakfast. The Cinnamon Tree Restaurant is a modern American restaurant, but provides an interesting twist on all of their dishes including breakfast. This restaurant is located inside of the Hunt Valley Inn. This cozy spot offers an excellent breakfast buffet that keeps the locals coming back again and again. People love the menu selection and the friendly and attentive service. The Caves Valley is open seven days a week and serves all three meals in two distinct shifts. After breakfast and lunch, the restaurant closes for three hours to prepare for the dinner rush. The hours of operation for all seven days are: 6:30am through 2:30pm and for dinner 5:30pm though 9pm.
