Where should I eat?

The Tuscany Canterbury neighborhood is home to some of the best restaurants and authentic ethnic food in the Baltimore City area. One of the best examples of this is the Mediterranean restaurant Cypriana, which is an upscale restaurant with beautiful and expansive outdoor seating area that serves Cypriot and Mediterranean cuisine and special cocktails and drinks. Here the locals love the falafel, pita, hummus, lamb, and salmon. The staff is friendly and comforting, and patrons love the selection of Greek wines that may be unavailable elsewhere in the city. Cypriana is open six days a week and closed on Mondays. The Mediterranean restaurant is only open for dinner each of these days. They open at 5pm for dinner and stay open until 10pm each night, except for Friday and Saturday when they stay open until midnight.

If you are not in the mood for Mediterranean food, you can find upscale Indian cuisine in a lovely dining area called the Ambassador Dining Room. Here there is incredible outdoor seating by a patio and inside they have several fireplaces to keep you warm in the winter and to provide a lovely background on cool summer nights. The local residents love the warm hospitality that the staff at the Ambassador Dining Room employs. The setting and atmosphere are two of the major perks of this establishment. Here you will love the lunch buffet, which is prepared with the full flavor of your traditional meals despite being bulk prepared. The chicken dishes are lovely! Here the authentic Indian cuisine is served in two blocks, a lunch opening and a dinner opening. For weekdays, the restaurant open at 11:30am and stays open until 2:30pm, and for dinner you can find that they reopen their doors at 5:00pm and stays open until 10pm. On the weekends, Ambassador Dining Room is open from 12pm through 3pm, closes until 5pm, and then stays open through 10pm for dinner.

If you do not have the time to sit down and enjoy a nice meal, you may be looking for a great takeout place that provides you all of the traditional American favorites you are craving on the run. Hopkins Deli is a combination takeout place and liquor store that will feed you and give you everything you need for your weekend bbq party. This place offers pizza, burgers, soups, and deli sandwiches to keep you happy and full. With a sizeable menu and a healthy selection of beers this place is an easy favorite to the residents. The crispy chicken wrap and the gyros are two of the favorites of the locals and well worth your trip to the Tuscany Canterbury neighborhood. So if you need to grab some liquor on an errand run, get yourself something great to eat as well at Hopkins. The deli is open from 8am through 11pm each and every day of the week.
