One of the most popular spots in the community is Ethel’s Creole Kitchen, which is serving up some of the biggest flavors this far north of New Orleans. Here you can get that delicious, gumbo, jambalaya, and several Creole specials and enjoy them on a beautiful balcony looking over the City of Baltimore. On Sunday, this place is only open for dinner, and is closed on Monday, but Tuesday through Saturday, you can find them open for a lunch rush from 11am to 2pm, they will close for three hours and reopen for their dinner specials from 5pm through 10pm. This casual eatery will have you craving the big flavors if you eat indoors or outdoors on the balcony.
