Where should I eat?

Why not check out a Tavern named after the very town? The Towson Tavern is one of the highest rated restaurants anywhere in the town and for good reason. This upscale casual restaurant is known for its sharing plates so come hungry with your friends and try a little bit of everything. The Towson Tavern also serves some great local craft beers to pair with your meals. With a menu that changes seasonally and inspired from it’s colonial predecessor of the same name, this scratch kitchen is a must visit for residents and travellers alike.

Are you hungry for something else but still looking for a casually upscale place for dinner? Look no further than 7 West Bistro Grille. This place focuses on Mediterranean tapas and unique American dishes. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, you can get an incredible gyro here and if you are looking for more traditional Maryland food, you can still get those famous Maryland crab cakes here as well.

Are you a fan of the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presely? Then allow for us to suggest to you the Nacho Mama’s Towson where the King meets southern cuisine. This is a great place for authentic Mexican cuisine and a place to hangout during a night out. The small menu has something for everyone from appetizer to deserts, and on the drink menu you will find a variety of excellent margaritas mixed with authentic Mexican beers to give you an incredible experience that will leave you saying, thank you, thank you very much!

Are there parks nearby?

Towson, Maryland is home to many beautiful parks, which is very common for both a county seat and for a community that houses two universities. The two main parks are the Towson Manor Park and the Ridgewood Hills Park.

What is there to do?

The Towson Town Center is the largest indoor mall in all of Baltimore County. With four stories of great stores and a parking garage you can shop to your hearts content.
