Rodgers Forge is southwest of Towson and is just noth of the Baltimore City and Baltimore County line. The community is bounded by Stevenson Lane, Stanmore Road, York Road that is better known as Maryland Route 45, Overbrook Road, and Bellona Avenue. It is north of the City of Baltimore.
Where should I eat?
The best-reviewed place in all of Rodgers Forge is a place called Villagio Café, which specializes in Persian halal food. This is a casual place that is bring your own beer. This restaurant promises to be flavorful but not spicy if you are concerned you won’t be able to handle the heat. Dining in a storefront experience you can have seven days a week and is open for lunch and dinner. When visiting Rodgers Forge this café is a must stop for some of the best authentic ethnic food in the region.
If you are not feeling brave enough to try something too new on your journey through the community we suggest you try checking out Zoe’s Kitchen. An authentic Mediterranean place, Zoe’s Kitchen has been around for over twenty years and has been focusing on creating the moments over dinner we rarely see or get with busy schedules. There is a reason this place has expanded in to some many states and communities around the United States as it continues to provide the Mediterranean moments it seeks with each and every family that comes through it’s doors to enjoy kabobs and family dinners that will have you passing plates back and forth until every last bite is gone.
So we have tried to convince you on Persian and on the Mediterranean, but if you are a picky eater or you are travelling with one, there is always one sure fire go to successful dinner option: Pizza. You won’t find a better slice any where in Rodgers Forge than Fortunato Brothers Pizza, the highest rated pizza place in the area. This place will serve you pizza or any of the traditional Italian fare you are looking for, and for the children who still can’t find anything they like on the menu, you can find French fries here as well.

Maybe the little one you need to tire out isn’t a person, but your furry friend and man’s best friend. Fret not, there is a dog park in Rodgers Forge where your dog can run to its hearts content and head home for a nice nap in their favorite sunny spot.
Forge Park is an excellent spot for everyone. This is a place for the kids or adults to play soccer or exercise and a place for you to sit down and have a nice picnic out in the sun.

What places should I visit?
As one of the most sought after suburbs in Baltimore County, you should use this middle ground to visit Towson and Baltimore City when you are feeling up to a weekend out of town. Baltimore City offers a vibrant downtown and waterfront area that offers incredible museums and the national aquarium, and Towson is home to more historical areas that you can spend the day enjoying as well as two universities where you can go and enjoy some great collegiate athletics. Towson is also home to the largest shopping center, a four story one, in all of Baltimore County so you can shop till you drop!
